This is definitely one of the best hostels in Bocas del Toro. It is located right across the street from the main park, which provides not only a beautiful backdrop, but also a very convenient location. Art was commissioned by numerous backpackers making their way through its doors, so now most walls are covered with beautiful murals. The new roof deck offers sweeping 360 degree views of the city. Free internet is offered as well as free wi fi, free breakfast, free drinking water, a good book exchange, and a very knowledgeable and personable staff. There also are surfboards available for rent. And if the Bocas del Toro heat is starting to get to you, Air conditioned rooms are available.

This Bocas del Toro hostel has continuously ranked number one by most guidebooks since it opened, back in 1997. The services provided are fantastic, but you really are going to Mondo Taitu Hostel for the vibe. It is the ideal place to meet other travelers. And yes . . . Party as well. The attached Mondo Taitu Bar provides the perfect environment to meet other people. They also have surfboards available for rent as well as a wide variety of knowledge and information about the area.

This Bocas del Toro hostal has gained its reputation as the top surfer hostel in Bocas del Toro. From the top floor, there are beautiful ocean views. The location is also very central, providing a perfect jump off point to all the major tourist spots. Internet is available as well as a bike rental service. The hangout area is very chill, and whether you want to play foosball or watch TV, this hostel is a great place to do so. The hostel is also owned by the owner of Iguana Bar so guests receive discounted drinks at the bar.

This is Bocas only waterfront hostel. They have a huge deck built over the water which is perfect for a mid afternoon swim. There are two dorm rooms with in room bathrooms, offering hot water. Breakfast is also included. The attached bar has two huge parties every week. One on Wednesday and one on Saturday. Be careful though, some people have a hard time leaving the hostel, realizing one week later, that they haven’t seen much of Bocas. You won’t regret it though. It is a great hostel.

This is the newest hostel in Bocas del Toro, located across from the park, directly next to Hostel Heike. They offer tv and air conditioning in the rooms so it is definitely a good hostel if you are looking for a little luxury on your travels. Free breakfast and internet is also included.
